Community Access Thursday at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum

Explore some of the most-loved exhibits, including toddler-favorite Totally Tots, the miniature shops of World Brooklyn, the NEST kids’ climber, and more. Then check out ColorLab, the family art studio located on the 2nd floor of the Museum, where artists of all ages can explore, make, and celebrate art.

Animal Encounters, 3-4:05 pm: Say hello to BCM’s live animals at this program led by expert animal maintainers! Get a personal introduction to some of BCM’s most fascinating creatures, including turtles, lizards, snakes, and more.

Flex Olympics, 3:30-4:15 pm: Learn street dance fundamentals, develop your own signature style, and compete in playful dance challenges. Flex is a high-energy street dance that was born in Brooklyn in the 1990s, inspired by Jamaican dancehall. Dancers draw inspiration from their environment and express themselves in their own way.
