Rightly fitting for this South of the Border transplant to Manhattan, Tacalle, Midtown’s newest hidden taco garden, will be known as ‘Born on Cinco de Mayo.’  The taco & tequila holiday, self-adopted by Americans as a celebration of all Mexican Culture, will set the scene on Saturday, May 4th for Tacalle guests to countdown to midnight, thus signaling Cinco de Mayo and the official opening of Tacalle. A live mariachi band is booked to entertain, and an array of pinatas will commemorate the day that will be remembered each month with special offerings every día Cinco del mes.  The first 100 guests to attend will receive a free taco sampler, including one chicken and one beef taco.  The party will also serve $5 Margaritas all night long – all flavors. The night will include live performance form a Mariachi band from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event is free to attend. RSVP is recommended.
