Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day

Alexander’s Angels’ Youth/Self-Advocate Group is excited to once again bring the Long Island community together in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD). For the fourth consecutive year the Macy’s court at Simon Roosevelt Field will be abuzz with fun activities. The free event promises an afternoon filled with music from a DJ, dances, singers, raffles, an opportunity for children to engage in a craft project, a Star Wars visit, and more. Additionally, collaborating organizations will be at hand to provide vital information to the Down syndrome (DS) community.
