Capoeira Performance and Dance

Moses Kyle McCarter has been sharing the art of capoeira in The Bronx for two decades, much of that time working in collaboration with The Bronx Arts Ensemble, where he has shared the Capoeira Concepts Curriculum in schools throughout The Bronx. He is the founder of Bronx Capoeira, a traditional Capoeira school in The Bronx modeled in the traditions of Bahian, Brazilian capoeira. His work seeks to share the concepts and philosophies integral to capoeira, being positive movement, song, dance, martial-art, and community. See him perform on Level 3.
