Button and Magnet Making

Join us for a casual, drop-in hour of making buttons and magnets with our button machine! 1.25″ and 1.5″ buttons will be available.

We will have some pre-made designs, but you can also design your own buttons with colored pencils, markers or collage materials (fashion and nature magazines, old encyclopedias/reference books, old illustrated picture books, etc). These pins are perfect for decorating and personalizing backpack, jackets, beanies, etc!

Snacks will be provided. This event will take place in-person at the New Amsterdam Library and is restricted to tweens and teens in grades 6-12. Registration is not required.
