Barkfest On Third: Last Howl of Summer

Join us for a tail-wagging celebration at Barkfest On Third: Last Howl of Summer, where we mark the end of summer and the start of the school year with a dog-friendly Back to School Drive!

Event Highlights:

• Backpack Giveaway: Thanks to Assembly Member Amanda Septimo, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Canon Strategy Group, kids can snag a free backpack for the upcoming school year! (while supplies last)
• Free Kids Haircuts: Get your fresh back-to-school look with complimentary haircuts provided by Bronx Loyal Mobile Barber.
• Live DJ & Cookout:** Enjoy the festive atmosphere with great music and delicious food, courtesy of Conbud Bronx.

Furry Friend Activities:

• Doggy Waste Bags & Treats: Dogs of Mott Haven will be distributing free doggy waste bags and treats, part of our “Boogie Down, Bag it Up: Keep the Bronx Clean” initiative.
• Woofbowl Pet Food Truck: Treat your pups to unique and tasty meals from the Woofbowl pet food truck.
• ZoomieZ Dog Run: Get ready for exercise and fun as Zoomies brings activities for dogs in the community.
• Pet Photography: Capture your pet’s personality with talented photographer Jen Hillenga from @thewaysofthedog, hosted by Sankofa House. (Pet Portraits will be available from 12-2pm)
• Kedi Pet Solutions: Discover premium pet recovery cones designed for your furry friends’ safety and comfort.
• Puppa Paws: Our furiends at Puppa Paws will be offering Mini Grooming Sessions, treats & chews for dogs and cats.
