Back to Hogwarts is one of the biggest moments in the wizarding calendar, marking the day students make their way back to the magical school for another year of mayhem and adventure. So, grab your copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, shake out those robes, stock up on Chocolate Frogs and practice your swish and flick … it’s time to go Back to Hogwarts! For the very first time, US witches and wizards are invited to join the magic at a unique and spellbinding event, held over three days at Grand Central Terminal’s beautiful Vanderbilt Hall. Fans are advised that they will need to reserve a free, timed entry ticket to attend on each of the three days, including the hosted countdown at 11am on September 1. Spaces are limited and access will not be granted to anyone without a ticket, here’s how to snag one: All tickets (including the countdown on Sept 1) will be released on August 19 and will be on a first come, first served basis. To access, fans must have signed up to and opted into email communications from the Harry Potter Fan Club by August 17.
On August 19, keep an eagle eye on inboxes for an email from the Harry Potter Fan Club which will include a link to the ticket site ahead of release at 12:00pm Noon EST. As part of the highly anticipated countdown, Kierra Lewis (@kierralewis75 on TikTok) has been announced as the official countdown host. A beloved figure in the BookTok community, Kierra’s enthusiastic journey through the Harry Potter series has captivated fans worldwide. Her video series sharing her first-time experiences with the books and movies have gone viral, earning her a dedicated following and making her the perfect choice to lead this magical event.
