The Annual Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk, a 1.5-mile, nine-day self-guided tour from May 4 through 12, 2024, from noon to 6 p.m., highlights Brooklyn artists and charismatic local businesses along Atlantic Avenue, running through three historic destination neighborhoods from Fourth Avenue to the Waterfront in Brooklyn. Features art created/made from different mediums while showcasing approximately 100 emerging and established Brooklyn artists at 50+ participating shops, galleries, salons, restaurants, and businesses. 

Enjoy strolling along this charming tree-lined avenue through Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, and Boerum Hill to Downtown Brooklyn. Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk is a celebration of creative local artists and merchants who both add life, soul and beauty to our communities. ArtWalk is free and open to the public rain or shine.

Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk 2024 special activities include:

  • Lively Curator’s Tour led by Why Not Art’s Grace Freedman on Saturday, May 4. Details and required RSVP at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/872692686317 with a Sunday, May 5 rain date
  • Live Painting outside (weather permitting) with artists Dan Peterson and Ibou N’doye
  • Demonstration by Brooklyn Watercolor Society at a pop-up gallery space, 529 Atlantic Avenue
  • The 14thAnnual ArtShare Exhibition, produced by HeartShare will feature 180 works created by children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Clover’s Gallery, 338 Atlantic Avenue
  • Children’s Art Activity by Craft Studio at Hoyt Street Garden (corner of Atlantic Ave and Hoyt Street) on Saturday, May 4
