Sensory Friendly Sessions by ARTECHOUSE

ARTECHOUSE NYC, NYC’s permanent home for digital art, is hosting its inaugural Sensory Friendly Sessions by ARTECHOUSE. In alignment with ARTECHOUSE’s mission of providing “art for all,” they have worked to create a comfortable and judgment-free space that is welcoming for children and adults who have sensory sensitivities. To create a sensory-friendly setting, the exhibition will be adjusted to facilitate an accessible experience, including the reduction of volume throughout the space, increased lighting, and a neutral space with lights on and seating for those who may need or would like to take a break. Upon booking, guests will also receive a resource guide walking them through the experience and provide additional information to prepare for their visit. Guests can reserve tickets in advance.

Beyond the Light, an original artistic expression of scientific discoveries, is the story of how human innovation has enabled us to see beyond our imaginations and into the furthest reaches of the cosmos. ARTECHOUSE worked in collaboration with NASA scientists to interpret the frontier-pushing data NASA collects about our universe, then brought it to life in the highest resolution possible utilizing today’s latest creative technologies and experiential storytelling.
