AND THE EMMY GOES TO… A Night of Emmy Speeches

August 12, 2022, 8 pm9:30 pm.

Nikki Palumbo (MTV, The New Yorker) and Ilana Michelle Rubin (Vulture, The New Yorker) host this comedy awards show where 20+ comedians give the hilarious Emmy acceptance speech of their dreams without having to do any of the hard, boring parts—make a TV show, get nominated…and actually win. The best part of any awards show is a memorable speech and we’ve got them by the dozens, including from Dylan Adler, Charlie Bardey, Alise Morales, and Julia Shiplett!

NIKKI PALUMBO is a comedian based in LA who has written for The New Yorker, MTV, Reductress and hosts Queer Tiger Beat.

ILANA MICHELLE RUBIN is a comedian, actor and DJ based in New York. She’s been profiled in Vulture and had her comedy featured in The New Yorker, Reductress, Paste Magazine, and currently hosts the music/comedy podcast The Bop Pod.
