Alma Rivera, the animated star of the hit PBS KIDS series Alma’s Way from Fred Rogers Productions, is visiting the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) on screen this fall! To celebrate, the AMNH, Fred Rogers Productions, and Thirteen invite families to a special event to experience all that the AMNH has to offer—through the new episodes and in person! The centerpiece of the event will be a screening of these new Alma’s Way stories. There will also be free, hands-on activities focused on ocean life, gems and minerals, and fossils – some of the themes explored in the Alma’s Way episodes. And, Alma herself will make an appearance to meet families and pose for photo opportunities!

Museum President Sean M. Decatur along with Alma’s Way creator and executive producer Sonia Manzano and executive producer Ellen Doherty, chief creative officer of Fred Rogers Productions, will welcome families at noon.
