25th Birthday Celebration of Everett Children’s Garden

This Spring the Everett Children’s Garden celebrates its 25^th Birthday. Join the fun to celebrate 25 years of outdoor nature and science play in the Bronx! Discover how the Children’s Garden has nurtured a generation of educators and environmentalist in the Explainer Program. Visit the Garden and take a trip down memory lane in the Story Walk looking back at memories over the year from Explainers, Volunteers and staff. Sing the Happy Birthday song to the caterpillars and revisit iconic activities such as exploring leaf litter and pond life. Have a birthday-themed tea party in the Victorian Playhouse. Pot up your own Oxalis triangularis plant party favor to take home.

Weekday guided activities: 1:30–5:30 p.m.
Weekends and Monday Holiday Guided Activities: 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Self-Guided Outdoor Exploration: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Story Time Weekends: 2:30 p.m.
