2025 Riverhead Holiday Extravaganza

Ring in the holiday season with a full afternoon of activities and events! At 3 p.m., enjoy a puppet show performed by Goat on a Boat Puppet Theater, followed by a kids’ craft and hot chocolate. The fun continues with the Lions Club Parade at 4:30 p.m., beginning south on Ostrander, heading west on Main Street, and then north on Griffing Avenue before ending at Town Hall. Santa will arrive afterward for photos at Santa House. At 5:30 p.m., town dignitaries will offer an official welcome, followed by the tree lighting. Throughout the day there will be a Bonfire, Merry Market & The Sled – a seasonal walk-through experience and photo opportunity will be onsite (courtesy of the Riverhead Free Library).
