2024 FREE Summer Concerts on the Village Green
The Ward Melville Heritage Organization (WMHO) is excited to announce the 2024 Summer Concert Series on the Village Green lineup. These free concerts will take place in front the Stony Brook Post Office at 7pm on Sundays from July 7 to August 18.
Kick off the 2024 Summer Concert Series in Stony Brook Village on June 30th with a performance of The Liverpool Shuffle, a Beatles Cover Band. *This show is sponsored by LIMEHOF and will take place in front of their building*
The Concert Series will continue on the Village Green at 7pm on the following dates:
July 7th – Just Sixties – The longest running sixties tribute band in the United States.
July 14th – Martini Garden – This New York band has been described as the Eagles meet Stevie Wonder. Founded in 2005 they serve up an eclectic mix of Rock and Roll, Blues, R&B, Jazz, and Country.
July 21st – Common Ground – Common Ground takes you back in time playing classic hits from the 1980’s MTV Generation.
July 28th – The Equity Brass Band – a six piece ensemble performing in the tradition of the New Orleans Brass Bands.
August 4th -One Step Ahead – a cutting edge, high energy, band with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry.
August 11th – The Precisions – a vintage rock group performing songs from the golden age of rock and roll.
August 18th -The Rustlers – a high energy group performing classic and contemporary country and rock and roll songs.
In the case of rain, the concerts will be cancelled.
